You will require a passport for travel to Europe, that is valid for at least six months after the date you intend to return to Australia.
Important note on visas
During our Budapest to the Black Sea River Cruise, we visit Bulgaria and Croatia which are not part of the Schengen Area, and border controls are in operation upon entering and exiting the Schengen Area. Please check with the relevant country's tourism board to find out if you need a visa and/or any additional documentation for visiting these destinations
It is your responsibility to take out appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking. It is a requirement of our booking conditions that every Riviera Travel passenger is in possession of valid travel insurance for the full duration of your trip. If you have not organised this yet, please make sure you are covered before you leave home. You are free to choose any travel insurance policy that it suited to your requirements.
Please ensure that your travel insurance policy covers you for any activities that you plan to undertake on your holiday. You should always carry your policy documents with you on your holiday. We would also suggest that you leave a copy with a friend or relative.
All payments must be made in Australian Dollars and paid directly to your booking agent.
If you wish to cancel your booking, please inform your booking agent in writing (post or email) as soon as possible. Please note that cancellation charges apply. Check the booking conditions agreed with your booking agent regarding cancellation fees.

If you wish to amend your booking, simply let your booking agent know and they will contact us to make the amendments.
You will receive a Booking Confirmation Document, which is sent to your booking agent up to 48 hours after Riviera Travel have receiving the full deposit payment from them.
This document contains important information such as your booking reference, confirmation date, departure date and price breakdown Along with your confirmation you will receive a passenger information form, which contains all the information that you have provided about each passenger at the time of booking, as well as space for you to provide additional information such as passport details. It is important that you carefully check the information on this form for any discrepancies and return the form with any missing information completed.
Once the final balance has been receipted on your booking a travel details form will be sent for you to complete and return. This document contains information such as your date of departure and date of return, flight details and accommodation details prior to your cruise. In the unlikely event of an emergency before your river cruise, we ask for these details.
Please check with your airline carrier for baggage requirements and restrictions while flying.
Your final Travel Documents will be sent to the booking agent 3-4 weeks prior to departure. If you haven’t received your tickets 7 days before you are due to travel, please contact your booking agent.
You must contact your booking agent as soon as possible on who can provide replacements or advise on what to do.
Our fully comprehensive itineraries include all of the ‘must see’ sights and experiences your selected destination offers. Many operators sell these as ‘options’ – but on a Riviera Travel river cruise you will miss nothing of importance. We do not sell you lots of additional excursions that just add to your overall costs. For specific details of what is included, please see the relevant cruise page.

Please pay your balance to the booking agent which with you make the booking. They will advise when your balance is due.
